Iran short 'It Rains Slowly' has been scheduled to screen at the 2018 edition of Istanbul International Short Film Festival in Turkey.
Directed by Saeed Nejati, the 15-minute short flick along with the other selected works will be merely screened at the festival as this film event has no competition sections.
'It Rains Slowly', which is the first joint product of the Qom Youth Cinema Society and the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality from Turkey, was made in Turkey.
It narrates the story of some school students who are trying to find a way to help their teacher.
The film was first screened at İzmir city hall and was well-received by the spectators. It was selected as the best short film.
According to the Istanbul International Short Film Festival website, the gala is the longest running and most experienced organization among the International short film events in Turkey.
The latest edition of the festival is slated for December 14-21, 2018.
